Ionian Sailing Adventure
ISA is the travel agency of Marjan Hoogendoorn. Together with Peter Kraan she came in 1989 to Greece. After a couple of years as maritime officers in the merchant navy they choose for a sailing life and started their own fleet in Corfu. They speak Greek, English, German and Dutch. They live and sail the Ionian ever since and know the area with its people as no other.
Marjan advices and helps you find and book the best suitable yacht for your sailing holiday. Peter may be booked as as a skipper or sail-instructor on your yacht.
Out of respect for the environment ISA goes for repair instead of quick replacement of our yachts. It is a well maintained sustainable fleet. Safe and sound, and budget priced.
You will have a boat that is easy to navigate. Comfortable. Seaworthy. Easy to handle. With enough space for two, four or more crewmembers. Next to our own fleet we offer yachts from trustworthy colleagues in Corfu.
Next to sailing Peter and Marjan love travelling, hiking, nature, yoga… If there are more walkers in the group we can share morning hikes together, or enjoy yoga on a beach. The last couple of years Marjan has been studying fytotherapy (herbs) and nutrition. She is happy to share knowledge with whoever is interested.
