Accommodation on land before or after your sailing holiday
Many of our customers like to extend their sailing holiday on Corfu with a week ashore. Since we live here we have found some lovely spots that we don’t want you to miss out on.
Central on Corfu we recommend Casa Lucia‘s cosy little cottages in a beautiful garden. Very central on the island, about 5 km from the marina. Yoga en tai chi lessons are regularly organised and also various worshops. Horseriding and beaches nearby.
Agrotourism in the south of Corfu, near the Korisson lake on the westcoast in the middle of nature.
There are 2 luxurious villa’s for rent at the biological farm and restaurant Bioporos. Beautiful view on the lake and the sea. Ideal walking area in the non-touristic part off Corfu. The friendly owners, Kostas and Agathi love to show you the Greek traditional ways of living off grid. They grow their own vegetables. Make their own olive oil. Hold bees, chicken and other farm animals and cook the most fantastic meals every day. And would you like some Greek cooking lessons? Agathi will teach you.
For a visit to the Greek mainland we highly recommend the Zagoria area. Hiking, overwhelming nature and the deepest gorge in the world. Best place to stay is hotel “Porfyron”. Stylish rooms, wonderful food and hospitality from Yannis and Rita. From here you can also make daytrips to Dodoni, Meteora or Ioaninna.
